botaniq for blender is an extensive library of many optimized realistic 3D trees, palms, plants and shrubs for architectural visualization, environmental design, rendering forests, landscaping or other various scenes that require various greenery.
After nearly 2 years of development, materialiq was completely reworked and released as materialiq 5 Beta.
materialiq panel is now in the N-Panel and contains the new polygoniq browser.
Materials from older version can be ported to materialiq 5 automatically.
The entire system is designed for consistency and efficiency.
materialiq currently has 336 materials using 621 textures.
It supports 8k textures, Displacement, Texture Bombing, and more.
This is an R&D and tribute project of visualizing Tverrfjellhytta, Norwegian Wild Reindeer Pavilion in Dovre, Norway which was designed by Snøhetta. It is an amazingly thought out project and we will definitely visit it one day.
Everything is modelled and textured by us. The entire visualization took 24 hours in total including searching for references and creation of the rendered output.

We used imagery available from the architect's website and articles on the internet to recreate the intricate engineering design as accurately as possible.

We placed 4th, with honorable mention. Our design was generally taken well but suffered some detail inconsistencies and lack of greenery.
This was our first direct participation in a competition but we are definitely looking forward to competing again in the future.
